eating healthily.
i have a serious sweet tooth. which means eating celery and crap is gonna be hard.
however.
brushing my teeth helps, so im gonna have loverly pearly minty whites

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

Laaaaaadies and Gentlemennn and those who would rather not identify their gender.
i, Charlotte J Bennet, probably one of the most UNfitest people ever, has decided to bodly go where (i think) no overweight teenage girl has gone before.
i, dear followers, am going to run the marathon next year.
now, this all started after a jokey conversation at the dinner table which resulted in my mother's boyfriend saying that we should do the marathon. he was joking.
however, i was sat on the computer not 30mins ago when i though about what he said.
i could run the marathon, with enough training.
there's nothing stopping me
and it come's with many benefits
1.. → i would acheive a major goal
2.. → i would loose weight, thus creating a whole new gateway of pretty dressess for me
3.. → i would get fit, which i need to be in order to get into my physiotherapy course in 2 years (provided i dont fail my a-levels)

i mean, i can see no fault in my plan.
my friend betthyy also asked if i was going to run for a charity which is a great idea and the answer was right on my wrist. i've been wearing my help for hearoes band for nearly 2 years solid now - i've slept, eaten and washed with this baby. i think the work the charity does is realy important in helping re-build the lives of those who have give so much for ours, and it would be a privilidge to represent them. if you dont know any of the amazing things that help for heroes does, just check out their website at www.helpforheroes.org.uk

so, now it's just a case of training. tomorrow hopefully will be a hunt for some running shoes and then after that, it's just going for it really.
wish me luck, im DEFINATELY gonna need it.

beauty. more meaningful ramblings. sorry

now i think we have all had the conversation - where someone walks in and you and your friends argue if they're good looking or not. that's the confusing thing. what really is a definition of beautiful?
and what makes people beautiful - how they were born or how they present themselves?
and the price of beauty. oh, the price.

personally, i think the best single word to describe beauty is symmetry. you know, the whole arms the same length, eyes the same level and full set of teeth symmetry. but, if you look at someone who is completely symmetrical down to last detail, they look really odd. i mean, like doctor who alien odd.
what we see as beautiful is different and individual for every person - like a fingerprint. i think celebrities are the best example of this - a lot of people think mitch hewer is beautiful, but he's not everyone's perfect idea of a beautiful person. (he comes pretty damn close though in my opinion XD )
not everyone is born with good looks which also opens up the idea of natural and false beauty. i know people who look beautiful without make-up and false hair etc., and i also know people who wear make-up beautifully.
personally, i think true beauty comes from someone's personality, and that's not just about their interests or qualities. people's personalities determine the way they present themselves. for example, my personality means i wear make-up to accentuate my facial features (and make spots disappear XD) and also to do my hair in a certain way and wear certain clothes. so is beauty really about what you have, or is it about how you use it?
but, like everything, beauty has a price. people will go through so much to attain their idea of a perfect body. plastic surgery, mental workouts, injections, lasers, razors and anything else you could think that causes some sort of pain to make you look different.
my point being - it's all a bit pointless.
everyone has a different opinion of beauty, so maybe you think being a platinum blonde with a tan is beautiful whereas someone else might think having dark hair and pale skin is beautiful.
but this is a good thing. if everyone's idea of beauty was the same then we all try to look the same. now how boring would that be!!!
so, just a quick message. you can never be everyone's idea of beautiful. but you are someone's. yours. so never ever EVER try to be someone else's version of beauty. because then you would be someone your not.
and that sucks.
and guaranteed someone is gonna love you for not looking like everyone else.

fancy dress (:

soo, the fancy dress thing is bout a month away, and i have a few idea's for costumes.
1 → a ninja. stealthy. swift. however, probably the most boring costume apart. unless you go as yourself.

2→ marylin monroe. i love marylin. my mum does too. however, i dont want to be flicking up my skirt all evening.

3→ a french maid (ooh lala) we already have one of these costumes. it really frilly. which i love. however i would probably wear it with a cardi and tights. i hate my arms. and my legs. (high five for self confidence)

anyway, any more ideas?

this was meant to be about school but i have a problem with staying on track

now i'm trying to keep this as normal as possible. there are so many specialist blogs out there (by that i mean ones about technology, fashion etc.) that browsing through blogger, i didn't really find many blogs that spoke about a variety of stuff that's applicable to everyone. so, that's what i plan to do.
school
love it or hate it, like they say, it's some of the best years of your life. for me, it's also the years of my life that have shaped who i am.
now, i'm not saying i love school (who honestly does?) but i do enjoy it. mainly because of the company there. i hang around with 6 other girls who are absolutely-epically-immense.
...Olive, the guitar player and my best friend
...Chelly, the actress and pervert
...Bethyy, the artist and one we all tease ferociously
...Hollygon, the fashionista and tea cup lover
...Turtle, the manga fan and twisted one
...GrrrrrrrrRosie, the x-box freak and "quoter"
oh, and me :) the tall one.

now from that, you hopefully would have all guessed that we don't have a lot in common interest wise. i think that's what made us friends in the first place - our different opinions get the others intrigued and we can spend HOURS discussing things. through these wonderful girls, i've discovered so much about new things and also myself. i have learnt my limits (rape) and what i'm comfortable with (groping and talking about war)

anyway, they make school interesting for me. the only subject we have all picked is history, individually we've chosen media, science, art, dance, drama and childcare (my bad. i hate it). they encourage me to get up in the morning and i'm leaving school with (hopefully) 14 and half GCSE's which is more than enough to get me into 6th form.

i think the only bad thing about our different interests is 6th form. we aren't all going to the same places because we all want different things out of further education. i'm going to the same 6th form as Bethyy, Grrrrrrosie, Hollygon, Olive and i think Turtle are going to a school and Chelly is off on her own. we ARE all going to stay in touch (i'm making sure of that) because these people are amazing. sorry if it sounds like im boasting by the way :)

anyway, i want you to think about your friends or family. are you grateful for them? how have they shaped you or given you?
listen here - you're lucky to know all the wonderful people you know, whether that be your parents, step family, friends, cousins, dogs whatever.  they're all important. so once in a while, tell them that. they will appreciate it, i'm sure of it.

im a failiure, i know

i haven't update in ages. i apologise. i have no valid reason for this other than i sort of might of did forget that i actually had a blog.
again, sorry.
anyway, i thought i would tell you about what i've been up to because i think its worth a read.
we've just started back at school after 2 weeks of half term and i enjoyed the break. the most important thing i think happened was my pizza/zombie party. a couple of people couldn't come but those who did had a laugh (i hope). anyway, at the end of the night there was cider and coke on the floor after a jumpy game of just dance and sweets everywhere. we ate pizza, got in and out of zombieland (we can talk for ages) and i made a new in-person friend. i say that, i had already been talking to them on msn for a while, but it was the first time i had met them. they live in germany. one of the most memorable quotes of the night was definately when my friend adam asked my german visitor if his hoodie (which read athlcdept or somehing) was "nike" in german. i was embarrased. majorly.
i also went to a skins audition in london. i didn't know so many 'individuals' existed. it went okay i think, i went along really for the experience more than the career oppertunity. i want to be ap hysiotherapist when i'm older, so im not really too bothered about the audition. it would be nice if i did get through, but i dont have my heart set on it.
and the iwent out with friends and stuff. i've gotten into filming, so im probably gonna put a video up here soon of the audition or something.
now, i also wanted to talk about something i think is amazingly cool.
my dog, sherry, got a new collar. its baby pink, and has her name on. how more freekin crunk can you get *awkward hand gesture*
anyway, i want to get some ideas from you.
i've been invited to a costume party on the 29th of this month.
what should i go as??
i was thinking ninja, but thats a bit boring costume wise.

wuu2? let me tell you in the form of a blog

okay, so i have nothing of interest to talk about so i'm gonna fill you in on what i've been up too.
1. school
school has been interesting.... i've realised the entirety of childcare coursework i have to do still and also how much revision i need to do if i want to get anywhere near the A's everyones expecting for my GCSE's.

2. health
i have NO idea what is up with my fingers. but they hurt. mega.

3. twitter :)
i have been talking and what not to various people on twitter. i've met 3 guys ( ;) )
thelifeofrichie
danzi94 (who strangely knows my friends boyfriend,,,, it's a small world)
and lordmorris
check them out, they're really funny guys who don't try to hard to be amusing. it comes naturally for them which is a talent in itself.

4. WORKOUT!!!
yes. i've been exercising! now if you have met me before, you would think i've never gone near a salad in my life. i still haven't. however i've been dancing since i was 7. i gave up last year after a knee injury put me out of action and i found other interests and the need to revision. but yeah, i've been doing a rosemary coloney video from the 90's that i found in a random room search for a fan. i have a lot of those.....

anyway thats about all.
enjoy your easter + dont get too fat you need to join me in a shitty 90's workout seshhhhh
:D
